Gameplay
Gifts can be delivered by aiming and shooting at the chimneys of lighted houses.
Delivering gifts increases the happiness of the world as shown by the 'Joy-O-Meter'.
Delivering gifts, within a short period of time will enable a combo meter which increases happiness further when gifts are delivered.
Gifts are spawned throughout the map by the Grinch and can be collected by touching them.
Fake gifts are also spawned by the Grinch, they then turn into traps and are activated after a short while.
Hitting a trap while it is activated will damage the player. The player has 3 lives, once they run out of lives, it's game over.
Shooting a fake gift before it activates will cause it to 'shoot-back' at the Grinch, damaging him.
After the Grinch has been damaged enough times, he will retreat for a short while and come back later.
Anvils are spawned as obstacles (the objects moving from left to right). They can be collected by touching them. Once an anvil has been collected, it will be the next object to be shot. If the anvil is shot at the Grinch, it will slow him down and cause him to come closer to the player. (Note: Anvils are shot way faster than projectiles, no need to over-shoot)
Hitting the floor will slow down the player and cause the Grinch to move further away. Hitting an obstacle other than the anvil will have the same effect.

Note From the Developers
It is with honour, that we present to you How Santa Saved Christmas 2 a sequel to How Santa Saved Christmas. On both games, the amount of work that was done in only a week has beaten all expectations. However, there are still some mechanics that need a bit of polishing and some 3D models are missing. But with our time constraint we can only do so much. Despite this, we hope that you enjoy this game made for the Jame Gam Christmas Edition 2023.
Thank you for playing and Merry Christmas!
